Terms of service
These terms apply to the Sinfonie desktop application, the sinfonie.dev website and the account and plan services behind them (together, “Sinfonie”). By installing the app or creating an account you agree to them.
What Sinfonie is
Sinfonie is a macOS application that runs AI coding agents on your computer, in isolated git worktrees, using accounts and API keys you hold with AI providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI. Sinfonie is not an AI provider and does not resell their services. Your use of each provider is governed by that provider’s own terms and billed by them.
Plans
- Free. The core application at no charge, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Pro. A personal subscription that lifts those limits and adds the features listed on the pricing page.
- Team. A per-seat subscription for an organisation, administered by the person who bought it.
Plan limits and features may change; we will announce changes on the pricing page and in the app before they take effect, and a change will never remove access you have already paid for during the current billing period.
Payment
Paid plans are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes, invoices and refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Our refund policy explains when a refund is given.
Your account
Accounts are created by signing in with GitHub. You are responsible for the security of the computers on which you stay signed in. One personal plan is for one person; a Team plan seat is for one person at a time and may be reassigned by the team’s administrator. We may suspend accounts used to circumvent plan limits or to abuse the service.
Your content and your code
Your repositories, conversations, notes and settings stay on your Mac and remain yours. We do not receive them. What the app sends elsewhere is listed in the privacy policy. Sinfonie is a tool; you are responsible for reviewing what agents produce before you rely on it, commit it or ship it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sinfonie to break the law, to attack systems you are not authorised to test, or in ways that violate the terms of the AI providers or services you connect. Do not reverse engineer the licensing of the app or redistribute it.
Software licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the Sinfonie application on computers you control, for the plan you are on. The software is provided as is. Some components are open source under their own licences, listed in the app.
Warranty and liability
Sinfonie is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of data, or costs charged by AI providers or other services you use through Sinfonie. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Termination
You can stop using Sinfonie and delete your account at any time by writing to hello@sinfonie.dev. We may end the service with 90 days’ notice; paid periods running past that date are refunded pro rata.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will note the effective date at the top; material changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the law of the country in which we are established, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
